3D Browser Pro is a file explorer, which makes viewing, editing and organizing your images, 3D files and audio files easier.

For each directory, 3D Browser Pro displays high quality thumbnails for each recognized files, computed in a background thread. 3D Browser Pro recognized more than 60 images formats, a lot of 3D formats and most of audio files. Several customizable display modes, sort modes and file filters make browsing directories very comfortable. For example, you can display only .jpg and .html files using the custom filter mode. The custom display mode shows your most useful information such width and height for images, polygons and faces number for 3D files or title, author and length for MP3 tracks. You can also sort the thumbnails in the order you want, simply using drag and drop.

Images or scenes can be viewed or edited with the 3D Browser Pro viewers or in an external application, using the fast application access toolbar, drag & drop, or the application selection dialog.

Each file has its own property sheet, which contains information about author, title, legend, description and keywords. This sheet contains also taking-picture condition information (for images issued from a digital camera) or faces, points materials information for 3D files. It's possible to display these information next the thumbnails or used them to print or retrieve your files using the search feature.

3D Browser Pro has an image viewer and an OpenGL viewer for an high-quality display of your images and 3D scenes. Viewers include slides show feature and navigation features to display quickly files contained in the directory. Futhermore, viewer's commands are scriptables which means they can be used in a batch command.

The image viewer can display the image or the alpha channel when it exists. It includes conversion and printing features. It includes rotation, cropping (lossless for JPEG files), resizing features to modify your images. "Rotate to horizontal" & "Rotate to vertical" are innovatives and intuitives tools to set your images uprights. You can also adjust colors, distort images, apply specials effects using one of the large filters availables.

The OpenGL viewer clearly shows scene hierarchy and materials. It has several rendering mode (wireframed flatted, smoothed, smoothed/wireframed...) and displays textures when they exist. It includes conversion and printing features. Point of view is defined using the display features (zoom, pan, auto zoom...) and can be used to update the current scene thumbnail or as the default point of view for thumbnails generation. The OpenGL viewer also includes Polygon Cruncher (additional license needed) to optimize your scenes.

3D Browser Pro also allows playing audio files easily. It also displays useful information for MP3 files (author, title, length...).

Nothing is more simple that printing a contact sheet for images and scenes of a given directory. You control accurately page setup, characters size and fonts, colors, images number, header and footnote. You can add a comment or any specific information under each image. Once your settings done, you can save them, or load another one from the templates library. Printing a single image or a scene is also possible, using the printing command of the image view or the OpenGL viewer. You define simply the position, the size of the printing. In each printing module, the print preview window allows you to verify what will be printed.

Batch command feature allows to apply a set of commands to a set of files. For example, you can - in a single step - resize, rotate, then convert to 128 colors a set of images. You can also generate images from scenes located in a given directory. Create your own batch command using one of the 3D Browser Pro command, save it, or load one of the sample from the batch command library provided with 3D Browser Pro.
